Again I have to take back some words that I posted here some 8 months ago. In that post I was talking about the breathtaking views that I was able to enjoy while riding my bike to work and that I will miss those views in the future. Now I don't miss them at all. I am discovering new ones every day. The horizon is enlarging and the angles of my views are changing.

speaking of smoking, the entire time i was in seattle, i counted smokers.
for fun, i also counted toyota priuses. prius is toyota's hybrid electric-gas car. my dad has one of those silent beauties, i love it when it operates by battery!
anyway, to be fair, i counted all through downtown seattle, western washington state, up into canada, down into oregon. city, country, ocean.
my totals are fascinating (to me):
37 smokers
178 priuses
as we arrived in germany this week, i noticed the smell of smoke immediately and saw a lady smoking walking past us and i said, so, should i count smokers here?
my man said NO!
