Geocaching in Norway, 04.-14.12.2006

TB Hotel Copenhagen, 04.12.2006

Visited the TB Hotel while waiting for my connecting flight to Bergen. A Nice walk in between, only 25 minutes. I nearly stumbled over the box.

Aksla Rundskue, Alesund, 05.12.2006
My first find in Norway!! During the stay of coastal steamer MS Midnatsol, I went all the way to the cache, lost some litres of sweat, and as a reward had this breathtaking view there. Absolutely nice place there.

The coordinates were a bit confusing there and wanted to lead me to the edge...and further. But as you see, I resisted and in the end the cache was not too hard to find, but because I went up too slow, I really had to hurry to get back to the ship in time.

GP#4 Trondheim, 06.12.2006

This was the coolest container I have seen so far!Great container!!! I logged today during the stay of coastal steamer MS Midnatsol...and what else could I do then go caching??!! *smile*
Nice hide, really.

Tromsoe City,
08.12.2006 Found it very easily and it was my second cache in Tromsoe. Great thing to go caching in the afternoon but already in total darkness.
Must have been instinct...

New Tromso Arctic Bug Hotel
, 08.12.2006

My first cache above arctic circle!!!
During the stay of the coastal steamer MS Midnatsol I visited the Bug Hotel. Had nearly no signal and so I was using the hint. It was not difficult to find then. Great hide and great idea of a TB Hotel in the centre. Had to wait nearly 30 minutes to put the box back safely because it was so so so crowded there!!!

Generalhagen, 12.12.2006

I had only 17 minutes because my coastal steamer was a bit late. It was raining hard but I made it to the cache when suddenly MS Midnatsol gave signal for departure. So, I quickly logged and hurried back to the boat...somehow made it in time. I wish I would have had more time because Harstad seems to be a very nice and "comfortable" city.

Geocaching - Mein 20. Cache
