Schoolbags and Geocaching

Sun, open shops in the city with music and fun for kids...enough reasons for us to go to the centre for a walk, an ice-cream and popcorn. Some thousand others had the same thoughts so it was quite crowded everywhere.
We also went up the "Wasserturm". This 42m high tower is the town's landmark. It is not too hard too climb up the stairs but it took us quite a while because the staircases are so very narrow that two people can hardly pass each other. On top of the tower there also is hidden geocache and of course that was another reason why I wanted to go there. Very nice view over the roof tops of Delmenhorst from there. Wanna see some photos? Click here.Since all shops where open, and Jale will probably go to school soon, we looked around for a schoolbag for Jale. Shocking again...€ 110,-- for a schoolbag for a 6 y.o. child?? No way! But while looking around at all those well designed schoolbags, I asked myself if they were probably manufactured in Asia by childrens hands somewhere. And, even worse, what would those poor kids think about such products???

However, the day was nice and now that we know what kind of a bag she needs, I will have a look around in the internet...must be posible to save a bit there.
